This short dance film is about my struggle with mental illness and treatment during the time of COVID-19. For many, accepting help and finding an effective treatment is a long journey. I wanted to depict that here. While this piece is up to interpretation and only speaks to my personal experiences (not the collective of all people’s experiences with mental health issues), I want to be clear that while seeking help may be challenging, it is worth it. You’re worth it.
