Hugendubel München approached me to create a "coachella vibes" teaser trailer for their summer bookstock festival. The festival changed from a live to a virtual event on short notice due to COVID. I put these peace together in a week with graphics provided by the client.
There were some promotional materials available and I approached the video creation to fit within the look and feel of the branding, bringing the graphics to life. I wanted the teaser to exude a light and breezy beach vibe, to emulate summer feelings, entice the audience and excite them for the upcoming festival.
The authors names appearing with the beat of the music, adds dynamism and gives it a "movie credits" feeling.
The background pulsates slowly, which is barely perceivable yet adds a waves ebbing and flowing effect. The intention was to create a breathable and light atmosphere.
The sound effects were added in-house by the Hugendubel marketing team.
