Rupert | Conker’s “Community Spirit” Hand Sanitiser.

At the dawn of the Corona Virus pandemic, the world descended into uncertainty. With sanitiser shelves empty and suppliers stretched worldwide, Rupert and the team at Conker Spirit sparked an idea. Instead of disposing of the waste product produced during the production of their Dorset Gin, they blended the excess alcohol with a natural thickener to produce “Community Spirit” hand sanitiser. Initially only supplying to local bars, the small operation quickly sky-rocketed, eventually growing into a major operation producing thousands of litres of WHO approved sanitiser to meet the demand from local Hospitals, Dorset Police, and a plethora of local charities that couldn’t afford the newly inflated and exploitive prices of sanitiser. Whether donated or supplied at a fair and affordable price, thanks to the team at Conker local businesses and charities were able to get their hands on the vital hand sanitiser that was at the time otherwise un-obtainable.
