As we journey through life, we have several positive experiences and at the same time we may encounter difficulties or challenges. In everything, it is important for a believer to stay steadfast in the Lord. The things that could sway a believer away are the flesh, the world, and the devil. Yet, a believer can stand firm and victorious over everything because of the finished work of the Cross. We talk about some keys that a believer must be anchored in, to always remain firm and steadfast in God.
1, Anchored in Intimacy – Intimacy with God releases strength, stability, and fruitfulness in the life of a believer. It establishes the believer in the love of God. It also prepares the believer for the return of our bridegroom God.
2, Anchored in Purpose - God has a purpose for our lives. When we pursue God to understand the general purpose (to worship & glorify God) and the specific purpose (call over our lives), it helps us stay on the right track.
3, Anchored in Truth - God’s Word is the truth that we must base our lives on. Knowing the truth about who God, truth about the Gospel, our identity in Christ, wisdom of God’s Word for everything that concerns us is important to walk aligned with God. Let us follow the example of the early Church and learn to live anchored in intimacy, purpose, and truth.
