“The Glory of the Glide”, a short documentary film exploring the history and future of the San Diego big board movement will be screened at the San Diego Surf Film Festival on Friday night in La Jolla. Featuring Skip Frye, Josh Hall, Devon Howard, Jen Smith and Erin Ashley, we shot this past February in Pacific Beach, San Diego, California. The film is set to be distributed by Blue Mag/Japan this summer and more screenings in the works. Note that this is not the final release, as the film is in the final stages of post production.
Huge thank you to all who made this possible, especially Josh Hall for inviting me into the inner sanctum of some of the richest surf history on the planet. It’s truly a privilege to honor the honorable. Thank you to Blue Mag and Holysmoke for making this film possible. I look forward to many more collaborations.
