Before the Datsun 510, was the Datsun 310 and before that, the Datsun 210. It’s a story of trial and error then finally, triumph.

Nissan's first entrance into Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) racing was a bust. Datsun won its class under 2500cc, the championship in the SCCA Trans Am 2.5 series in both 1971 and 1972.
