In its second year of delivery the Pathways Program consisted of three areas of development within L2R including, 3 paid internships for young people already connected to L2R, and a series of training and development opportunities for professional and emerging artists and two new employee roles, the Youth Arts and Community Development Coordinator (Efren Pamilacan) and the Community Development and Events Coordinator (Hëna Memishi).
Our aim is to increase the capacity of young people already connected to L2R to step into community development and artistic leadership positions within L2R, and further their learning in a safe and supported environment.
In 2019, the L2R Pathways Leadership Program was supported by Creative Partnerships Australia through Plus 1, Gandel Philanthropy, the Besen Family Foundation and over 28 private donors from the broader community who helped get this program off the ground.
