CUTOUT EXPO is a yearly exhibition created by the Department of Graphic Arts and Multimedia of Cyprus University of Technology and its aim is to display the work of its graduated students. On this project I had to create two (2) motion graphics that they were going to be used on all CUTOUT EXPO (2019) social media platforms for promotional purposes. Each one of the two videos had to represent its own unique aesthetics that are related with the two main directions of this Department (one for Graphic Arts and one for Multimedia). While creating them I decided to gave them a concept and the aesthetic of an old broken VHS cassette, which each “cassette”/ video while playing is going to showcase relatable art and design elements, such as experimental type, illustrations, digital collages etc.
