Prof. Ganapathisubramani’s research group at the University of Southampton use a state-of-the-art experimental approaches to understand, predict, and control fluid flows relevant to aerodynamic and hydrodynamic applications. Areas of focus include turbulent shear flows and the development of new concepts for unmanned air/water systems.
Flow is a new open access companion journal to the Journal of Fluid Mechanics (JFM), which focuses on the applications of fluid dynamics to technology, nature, medicine and descriptions of the physical world. Publications should focus on novel applications of fluid mechanics and be intelligible to a broad scientific audience so as to maximise their potential reach.
