When I turned 60 I resolved to live my last good 20 years as if they were the first twenty, but knowing more than I did then. This podcast is my journal of that journey.

PROGRESS REPORT

At the beginning of this year – counting from July, when I turned 61 – I decided to write Lanikai this year - to finish it. I’ve been working on it several hours each morning and have written (re-written actually) about 7 chapters and have filled out an outline/questionaire that I devised myself. By the end of August I hope to have reached Chapter 20.

Weight: I am closing in on 72 kilos – I keep passing 75, then going back over 75, then back down again. I am determined to get to 72 in 2 weeks at the latest.

Habits: This month I also began tracking and analyzing my bad habits and devising ways to improve them and become more productive.

Gratitude: I am grateful for my writing classes – I teach two writing classes online and it is very satisfying to help young authors dealing with all the shit in their own minds and lives like I have learned to do over the last 30 years and am still learning to do.
