BIO: In 1990, while walking through a crowd, I heard the most hypnotic sound that stopped me in my tracks. Something “unseen” literally pulled me by the front of my shirt to investigate this exotic voice. This was my introduction to the world of the Native American Flute as it was being played by Odell Borg when he first opened his business. I made a sacrifice and immediately purchased that flute.

Over the next 20 years, I rarely touched that flute. Then, in 2010, I took that flute on a journey and, as they say, the rest is history. Since being gifted the ability to play these most sacred of instruments I have not looked back.

I am of Afro-Native heritage (Choctaw and an enrolled member of the Saponi-Catawba Nation) and have created my personal style of music that I call Indigenous Soul. I have composed and produced two albums...Native and Phoenix Rising. Both have been nominated for varying awards with NASFA. I am presently working on my third flute album. I am proficient in the Traditional Native American style flute and the ancient “rim blown” indigenous flutes. I am truly honored to be a mentor in Jan Michael's academy to help you express the VOICE of your Soul. When it comes to flute music, if you can imagine it, I can show you the tools in how to create and express it. Journey Well!!!.
