VCV Rack jazzy patterns

VIDEO DESCRIPTION:

Play, download and edit the free video VCV Rack jazzy patterns.

A short version of a jazzy tune, all played in one shot with VCV only (Max 8 for interaction).
I was curious if I am able to improvise a decent Jazz solo only with VCV Rack and some controllers.

The synth solo in the middle part is played on the iPad with MIRA for MAX 8. I set up an XY-touchpad for pitch offset and pitch range and a slider for controlling the LFO FM going to BRANES. All that makes it possible to improvise in a very flexible and musical way.

Everything is generated in VCV except the basic drum loop in the middle part, which was done in Logic Pro and imported into COMPLEX SIMPLER by NYSTHI. All other sounds programmed in VCV, incl. hihats, bdr, chords, solo, bass, noise, …
There is no pre-programmed song structure, it’s kind of improvised too. All sounds are switched on/off and controlled with knobs and encoders of MIDI FIGHTER TWISTER.

The SENSEL MORPH keyboard is more used in the long version where I play with additional structures and combinations of sounds.
