Procedural Houdini Room Asset Population - Room Generator

This short video shows how we approached setting up a system for spawning assets in somewhat random positions each time to get variety for our "room generator tool". The process is as follows:
1. Define an asset library
2. Pick an asset from the library and place a locator in the room where there is space - at this stage we are only concerned with the space that we need to allocate for the asset
3. Assign placement tags to each locator and decide if it is next to a wall, corner or in the middle
4. Add the actual asset over the locator if the placement tags match
ex: the system might pick a screen and place a locator in the middle of the room where a screen would fit perfectly. Upon reaching step 4, no actual screen will end up being placed in the room because a screen can only go up on a wall. Reason for this last step is to get extra variety and unpredictability.
