ROCKUMENTARY is a mockumentary following the trials and tribulations of hapless young rock musicians trying to carve a niche for themselves as they tackle the modern music industry in a gloriously naïve manner.
Bandmates Chris and A.J. feel that they "have become passé" and aren’t the right people to front their own music, so they audition for an all-female rock band that they intend to manage, which they believe is a gap in the market that they can exploit. However, they soon find themselves making mistake after mistake, more preoccupied with image and style over musical substance, and reliant on their former bandmates for help. As the new group becomes more interested in creating their own sound rather than playing the material they're given, the whole project looks set to derail…
