Roanne Monte began her singing career at the age of thirteen when she outperformed hundreds of contestants in the state-wide competition, Let Them Shine, sponsored by the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Furthering her training at Sydney's Actor's Centre and later coached at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, she co-headlined with Olivia Newton John and Peter Allen at the Sydney Entertainment Centre before HRH Prince Edward of England.

At the age of sixteen, she played the role of 'Princess Tuptim' in the Australian national tour of Roger and Hammerstein's The King and I under Tony-nominated Director Christopher Renshaw. Dubbed by the Sydney Morning Herald as the girl with 'enormous charm and lungs of steel', she played the lead role of 'Kim' in London's West End Production of Miss Saigon, working with acclaimed Director Nicholas Hytner.

Now based in New York, Roanne continues her training with world-renowned voice coach, Maestro William Riley who's clients include Celine Dion, the late Whitney Houston and Stevie Wonder to name a few.

Roanne has been awarded for her contribution to philanthropic and humanitarian efforts, including performances for Operation Restore Hope and the United Nations Delegations Women's Club under the leadership of Remedios Fe Cabactulan and the patronage of Mrs. Ban Soon-Taek, wife of U.N Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon.

Roanne received a voice scholarship from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, holds a Bachelor's Degree with a Computer Science concentration and Psychology Minor Cum Laude from Harvard University.
