Hey everyone, Have you ever turned up for a flying session and the forecast wind just dies as you get there. Arrh!!! I know that feeling. Back home the wind sat around 20-25 knots all day. Seeing I had travelled a good distance to get to the flying site I decided to take the wait and see approach and in the process went for a bit of a stroll around and made some interesting discoveries. After a 3 hour wait the wind arrived, but by then the sun was getting low and I was only able to do a short flight. The moral of the story is always take an alternate aircraft for such occasions.
