As I have mentioned, Morricone is one of the greatest among the greats of film score composition: Raksin, Herrmann, Mancini, Rota, Badalamenti and others. The score for Bloodline was indeed a challenge as the film swayed to and fro between the outer limits of love and death, beauty and suspense. This is an unusual experiment in that I use the two main themes of this score and apply them to a music video ... the superb video of Madonna's song "Bad Girl" ... which I have subjected to a great deal of editing and visual alteration. The storyline works wonderfully with the music, making it both a trailer and mini-film (short film). But make that judgment for yourselves. One of the best music video dramas paired with one of the most moving film soundtracks.
