In the late spring and early summer of 1971 I borrowed an album from a friend and listened to it almost nightly for several months. It was the last album by Buffalo Springfield, Last Time Around. This was my favorite track and I can still remember lying in bed listening to it, the lights off, moonlight casting shadows through my bedroom window, tree branches swaying in the breeze on the wall ... a soft cool breeze coming through the screen window on the otherwise warm spring and summer nights. My mind drifted with the song with images of romance, of a girl not yet to be. It was a haunting melody and it haunts me still to this day. This video replicates some of that feeling and imagining, an experiment in the nocturnal and those special nights.
