I spent two days with those women in the Abosa-Adonten village in Ghana. For the first time in this village’s 60yr. existence, they were able to drink clean water. After a ceremony full of dancing, praising, and singing we sat together in the middle of their village. They spoke no English but we shared the sweetest hugs, smiles, and through translation of a dear brother, we were able to share laughs.

There are three generations of women with me in this video and through our brief time together, I left the village changed, with them forever cherished in my heart.
