Yannis Philippakis on the track: “We’ve only ever played this song twice. Jimmy sent me the piano part and I went and sang it once in one go into some headphones and that’s the demo that’s on the flexi disc. Then we put it on the back-burner it wasn’t a definite thing we were working on for the record. But then we got to the latter stages of the album and I started to feel like it was going to be important for the record. So I went in and sang it one more time and that was it. So there’s only ever been two performances of that song. One is the demo and one is the album version.”
