A light to moderte SSE came through at Swartvlei yesterday and it was most welcome on a really hot day.
I met Photi and Nigel at Pine Lake Marina and sailed with a RRD XFire 114 and a Simmer SCR 7.8 and was nicely powered up for the conditions. The wind was quite southerly and most of the wind was in the middle and NE side of the vlei, which is not that usual. Once up at Bleshoender, it was great fun!
Great to be able to get on the water when it is so hot at 30 degC!
