After a rather grumpy sail on Friday, Swartvlei delivered today with 18-25kts SE and way more consistent wind on the vlei (southern half). I was joined by Photi, Nigel, Francois and later by Markus and James. We had a blast up at Bleshoender and I got some nice video of Nigel and Photi sailing up there (at the begining of the video).
I was sailing with a RRD XFire 114 and a Simmer SCR 7.0 (well powered up) for the first session and then changed down to a Tabou 3S 106 and Simmer Apex 6.7 for some fun sailing during the second session.
Nice to be able to work on some duck gybes again. Awesome day to be on the water!
