This piece was meant to be somewhat creepy and off putting using scenes I remember watching and being frightened of when I was younger. Cartoons can easily leave a lasting impression on a child's brain, so it’s important that we monitor the types of things they are absorbing. Our society has always been able to get away with a lot of questionable themes and motives which hasn’t really changed in all these years. Are these types of cartoons actually sending harmful subliminal messages or is it all just for a fun viewing experience?
