Die Videoarbeit zeigt die Gruppendynamik einer spanischsprachigen Familie, die zu Zeiten des Corona-Virus per Videokonferenz aus verschiedenen Ecken der Welt in Kontakt bleibt. Die Teilnehmer dieser Anrufe beten zusammen und widmen ihre Gebete den Seelen der Verstorbenen, die noch immer am leiden sind. Diese Konferenzen werden auch benutzt, um durch technologische Tricks der Videoanrufprogramme gemeinsam Spaß zu haben. Darüber hinaus bietet uns die Arbeit eine Vision der Zukunft an, in der Computerbildschirme zu Hologrammen werden und Kommunikationsmittel für die Übertragung von Luftvibrationen einen Platz in unserem Alltag finden.
Eine Stimme aus dem Off erzählt auf Deutsch von einigen Unglücken seiner Familie, von denen sie versuchen sich durch religiöse Praktiken zu lösen. Die Arbeit schafft eine Parallele zwischen der Telekommunikation und dem mystischen Glauben als Mittel, um gegen den Verlust von Beziehungen und Gesundheit anzukämpfen.
The video work shows the group dynamics of a Spanish-speaking family who keep in touch in the times of the corona virus via video conference from different corners of the world. The participants in these calls pray together, and dedicate their rituals to the souls of the dead ones, who are still suffering. Using technological tricks from the video calling programs to have fun together. In addition, the work offers us a vision of the future, in which computer screens become holograms and means of communication for the transmission of air vibrations find a place in our everyday life.
A voice-over in German tells some of his family's misfortunes, which they try to solve through religious practices. The work creates a parallel between telecommunications and mystical belief as a means to fight against the lost of relationships and health.
