___ SYNOPSIS ___
En 2008, los 2.000 habitantes de Guanzhou, un poblado situado en una isla fluvial cerca de Cantón, fueron expulsados para la construcción de un “Parque ecológico”. Pero un puñado de habitantes vuelve al poblado en ruinas, desafiando la presión legal y policial. Durante siete años, Boris filma la resistencia de esos habitantes, entre ruinas donde brota la maleza y las construcciones de la megalópolis que avanza hacia ellos, inexorablemente. ¿Su destina seguirá el de los 5 millones de campesinos expropiados cada año en todo el país, por decreto?
