Elena encuentra a un paramilitar herido y decide ayudarlo. En la recuperación, él se da cuenta de que está en la casa de un muchacho que, días antes, su grupo había matado. Lo confiesa. Ella, impávida, en una muestra de bondad, le ayuda a escapar antes de la inminente llegada de quien lo busca.

Elena finds a wounded paramilitary soldier and decides to help him. While recuperating at her house, he confesses that his unit recently killed her son. Despite the shock, she still helps him to escape before the guerrillas find him.

Jesús Reyes
Jesús Reyes (1986) Nació en Cereté, Córdoba. "Elena" es su tercer cortometraje de ficción. Estudió Arte Dramático en Bogotá y ha trabajado en proyectos televisivos. Director del Cortometraje Tierra Escarlata (2013) y Co Director de Genaro ganador del Festival del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano de La Habana, Cuba (2017).
Ambos cortometrajes estrenados en el Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de Clermont-Ferrand.

Jesús Reyes (1986) He was born in Cereté, Córdoba. "Elena" is her third short film from fiction. He studied Dramatic Art in Bogotá and has worked in television projects. Director of the Short Film Tierra Escarlata (2013) and Co-Director of Genaro winner of the Festival of the New Latin American Cinema of Havana, Cuba (2017). Both short films premiered at the International Short Film Festival of Clermont-Ferrand.
