This Self-Compassion for the Job Seeker Series offers experiential practices and wisdom from experts in the fields of Psychology, Trauma, Human Resources, Health Mindset, and Fitness, Coaching. Our community of speakers comes from LinkedIn Learning, Mindfulness, and Self-Compassion professionals to the many diverse voices of job seekers in this unemployment epidemic.
Being unemployed and looking for a job is a stressful time. Not only does it affect your finances and your career plans but it can have detrimental effects on our psychological wellbeing. It can bring up feelings of embarrassment or shame, depression, and anxiety. One way to counteract the mental distress that a job seeker experiences is to practice Self-Compassion.
