Jubilee - Jubilee is still moving forward for October 16, 17 & 18! We are working hard on the logistics for this event and we looked forward to giving you a more in-depth update next Monday during the Unit Leader Update.

Virtual Advancement - Starting in 3 weeks we will be offering our Scouting at Home virtual offerings. Starting on September 8, we have 64 different belt loops, weekly den meetings and virtual merit badge opportunities. All of these will be free for our Mid-America Council families. Fall Recruitment - Virtual recruiting will be very important this Fall. 40 units have made a public Facebook page and identified their sign-up night this Fall and created a Facebook event. By doing this and tagging the Mid-America Council as a co-host we are able to go in and put some dollars behind your event and help target families around your area. Popcorn - Popcorn season is right around the corner! August 20 is the deadline to sign up for preorder. Please get your pre-orders in and if you don't plan to pre-order please let your District Kernel know. Don't forget online shipping is free right now on $30 orders.

Call to Action - The storms that rolled in last Monday did some major damage to the Mitigwa Scout Reservation which is part of the Mid-Iowa Council. This council is coming up with a plan on how to re-build and they could use some help. Once we get more information, we will pass that along to you our Scouting family.
