- Set-up: Stand with both feet underneath your hips, toes facing forward.
- Movement: Step forward into a forward lunge with your right foot. With your right foot planted, place your right hand inside of your right knee, with the palm facing away from the knee. Simultaneously rotate your left arm (extended) and knee open, with your hand, face, and left knee staying aligned throughout the motion. Step forward with your left foot until feet are back under the respective hips and you are once again facing forward. Repeat and alternate as indicated.
