This past May, a student walked into Dixon High School and opened fire during a graduation rehearsal inside the school gym. A school resource officer jumped into action and shot the armed student before the student was able to harm anyone else. 13 News was on the scene of the shooting throughout the day and provided comprehensive coverage on-air and online throughout the day. We had multiple reporters on the scene throughout the day, bringing live reports and live press conferences.
