Souvenir is a site-dance project directed via four audio-recordings created by choreographer Virginia Farman. The audio recordings were sent to an intergenerational cast of twelve dancers aged between 18 – 80 who were invited to follow instructions directing them into a range of specific movement based relationships with a range of outdoor locations. Geographically separated from each other, at various points in the improvisation dancers were asked to video themselves and to then sent the material gathered to Farman who edited it into the four films.
