The outpouring of riots, unguided protests, and *leaderless* demands from *autonomous* mobs of people across the country have forced a lot of introspection for everybody. For Matt, this is a strange instinct that many people are being manipulated to have, involving mourning the loss of a (previously) unknown man from Minneapolis.

Many of the people involved in the BLM movement have never lost somebody close to them at the hands of police, gang violence, or even any kind of murder or suicide. If they have, they are unlikely to have rioted, protested, or demanded any kind of reform in the cases of actual justice in their own lives with people that mean something to them directly.

A lot of people are feeling like they're really part of something, honoring somebody they now revere as a civil rights hero. The *impact* this is having does have tangibly more widespread results than the riots following the assassinations of Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, John F. Kennedy, etc. However this movement is being manufactured. They have falsified the memory of George Floyd; martyring him.

With close friends who have died overdosing on drugs, or being murdered, Matt remembers no riots.

No protests against the pharmaceutical companies that make Oxycontin. No riots destroying the businesses that were employing people who committed violent crimes. Nothing like that at all. When people are mourning those they actually care about? They carry the caskets. They grieve with their friends' mourning family. They go to a wake. They drink the pain away briefly and - out of respect - they pour some out in memory.

So this video is that; pouring some out for the man known as "Big Floyd," who we didn't know - but whose death has now been used as a catalyst for something we don't even know he ever wanted. At worst, he was a career criminal who was bound to end up in jail or dead on the streets somehow or another. At best he was a man who wanted to live long enough to reform himself after a lifetime of crime, and was killed by a police officer who failed to protect & serve a suspect.

Hate it if you want, but this is real as shit.
