Perry fell from the couch at home and ruptured his cranial ligament. This was quickly diagnosed on a physical examination (You can see in the video the abnormal movement of the knee.) Surgery was performed to place a strong suture to secure the femur and tibia, essentially replacing the function of the torn ligament. You may see clearly from the X-rays after the surgery was performed and Perry should be back to walking and running in no time!
