Play, download and edit the free video Ohikulkijalle (For The Passerby), 2019.

We combined a standard advertising light sign with naval traffic signage techniques. Each passerby will perceive it differently, depending on the direction and speed of their movement. The piece is located at the Lapinlahdenkatu underpass in the Baana bicycle corridor.

Commissioned by Helsinki Art Museum HAM, For the Passerby is intended as a temporary artwork. The work will remain in place for the time being, and may eventually be transferred to another location in Helsinki. It is a part of the HAM collection of public art.
