We were so inspired by little 7 year old Jacqueline from Friendwood, TX that we had her come out and share her story at our Gala this past weekend. Her mom is an Embrace Grace leader and they were babysitting an Embrace Grace baby one day and Jacqueline asked her mom why the Embrace Grace momma doesn't have a car and why she has to uber everywhere. The EG Leader explained that cars are expensive and so are babies so it makes it hard for her to get one. That gave Jacqueline an idea that was BIG. She said, "I could bake cupcakes and sell them and buy this mom a car!" The Embrace Grace Leader said, "Let's try it!" so they baked away and 816 cupcakes later as well as the generosity that was inspired by this 7 year old, she had enough money (over $8,000!) to buy this Embrace Grace momma a car (along with TT&L, 6 months insurance, 1 year warranty and several months worth of gas cards!). We believe at Embrace Grace that this is the future of the pro-love movement. It's the church. We all have something to give - our time, talents and resources to help make abortion unthinkable.
