“Your feminist friends are all whores or separated”. In 1970 more or less all mothers thought this way in Piacenza. Lucia, Brigitte, Paola, Gabì, Brunetta, Maura, Chicca and Marinella challenged the disdain of their families, of the institutions and of all conformists in the city. They got involved with the larger group of the international feminist movement, joined the Via Benedettine Feminist Collective and later started a public women's health clinic.
