Lonesome Journey - Comet Wirtanen

46P/Wirtanen is a short-period comet with a current orbital period of 5.4 years. At the end of 2018 it passed the perihelion and traveled very close to the Earth. This short timelapse video was filmed during December 2018 and January 2019. Since movement of the comet is relatively fast you will notice the comet traveling through stars. Unfortunately the filming conditions were not good due to light-polluted sky and unattractive clouds passing over the sky.
