El sueño de la técnica, desplegado hacia la exploración del espacio sideral, ha motivado también un movimiento inverso: la apertura de un mundo subterráneo. Bajo la ciudad moderna se extiende un vasto entramado de galerías, túneles, tuberías, alcantarillas, redes de transportes, estaciones subterráneas... Una inmensa telaraña sobre la que se asienta, y de la que depende, la ciudad visible; un espacio funcional e imprescindible, pero también un ámbito simbólico, una esfera oculta: el inconsciente de la ciudad.
Una sinfonía urbana que invita a reflexionar sobre nuestro propio hábitat.
SYNOPSIS:
The technical dream, deployed towards the exploration of space, has also motivated an inverse movement: the opening of a subterranean world. Beneath the modern city there lies a vast labyrinth of galleries, tunnels, sewers, transportation networks... An immense spiders web that sits upon and depends on the visible city; a functional and essential space but also a symbolic area, a hidden sphere: the unconscious of the city.
