We're constantly told that we can be anything we want to, but there's a disconnect between this notion and our true emotions. The true superheroes of today's modern society are the outliers, those who can do the things that they're told are impossible.

An editorial, fashion related short I shot in Downtown Toronto during early March. The mood is one of expectation and anticipation of the commencement of a new season, spring. Tones are primarily warm with an emphasis on golden yellow and saturated magenta.

Without any additional lighting equipment or crew, I took advantage of the glass buildings of Toronto's Financial District to reflect the sunlight to provide fill, key, or scratch that augmented the direct sunlight. Filmed in and around the TD Towers and Royal Bank Plaza, and on the shore of Lake Ontario at Sugar Beach.

Shot on the Panasonic GH5 with Sigma Art 18-35mm and 50-100mm f1.8 lenses. Handheld movement was interspersed in addition to tracking shots stabilized by the DJI Ronin-S.
