Killari is a project that proposes new ways to experiment and conceptualize massive (astronomical) data. It is a hybrid project, where the observation of the stars, data science, the internet of things, the development of proprietary software, generative sound, expressive lighting, digital fabrication and robotics converge.

To be more specific, it is a kinetic and automaton sculpture, which, connected to the internet, is capable of transforming astronomical data, obtained in real time, into an endless choreography of moving engines, sound and light. It transforms the exhibition space into a multisensory astronomical observatory where the different cycles of the moon and its close relationship with the earth and the sun are drawn in real time.

Killari uses data and probability to create an infinite timeline from the data obtained from the phases of the moon in real time, which is then materialized through sound, movement and light. Each sound fragment reflects the behavior of the moon-earth-sun at a specific time. The journey between these moments (in both sides, from the past to the the future, and viceverse) will allow us to listen to a unique audiovisual composition, generated entirely by the behavior of the stars in space.

As if it were a wind musical instrument, Killari replaces the wind with the flow of massive data, to make them visible and audible, creating an infinite score of "spatial" music.
