means hoops. At two minutes into

Francesca Gagnon's lyrics were
by René Dupéré who played a key
role in shaping the artistic universe
of Cirque during its first ten years.
Alegría has a mix of Spanish,
Italian, English, and French lyrics.
Most, though, are Cirquish, Cirque's
delightful made up language where
the words do not make sense. They
do, though, convey playfulness and
life. Dupéré's letras (lyrics) are:

They are just playful explorations
of high-dimensional spaces unlike
the three-dimensional space of our
everyday experience.
When dimensionality increases,
the volume of space increases.
After the 00:26:17 animation
(which is reprised at the end of the
video) the first image recedes into
the background in the lower right.
In the second image, the upper
right flows out of the background;
the lower right goes up and out.
When the time dimension adds
volume in our minds, a Slinky-
like object emerges, as it does
with the multiple hoops at the
end of Elena Lev's performance.
