This is a study of my object, my body. I believe it acts as a boundary and limit to my experience. I delineated my perimeter as a red border, with red tape, connecting it to the idea of a red lining that defines our space. Redlining was originally the systematic governmental denial of various places in a city. In addition, through this embodied perimeter, I treat my body and the camera as performers that exercise, construct, perform and choreograph a set of intertwined movements. I would lastly suggest that this work functions as a study of a still life, in this case a human still life which inherently expels movement, even if still.
