This code does have some merit. It was meant to print a fiction style formatted typewriter output for sending manuscripts to publishers, as NO WYSIWYG editor in existence does that! Which is just plain dumb!
The difficult part was getting the top of the page to align -- which took constant tweaking -- but, I probably could have just used a FF character!
