Rain, wind and cold does not stop The Determined!

Friday’s race for #TeamAngelWolf was a very special one ... it was the day “The Determined Ran With The Determined”!

We were in Abu Dhabi for the Make-A-Wish run at Zayed Sports City by Gulf Multi Sports and Abu Dhabi Sports Council

The #TeamAngelWolf Pack for this race was teamwork of 9.

Our riders were:
Rio, Malik and Ed.

Our pushers (runners) were:
Nick, Little Wolf and the UnstoppableFab4 (Jonah, Joel, Micah, and Isaac)!

It was a huge honour to have the UnstoppableFab4 brothers join us for this race. These young men are incredible athletes; they were Athletes in the Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi 2019, and won lots of medals for the UAE. The brothers are the politest young men you will ever meet! They are very strong runners (and triathletes) pushing Nick and Tia at a great pace. Such an honour to run by their side!

We were so grateful to have Malik and Ed join us for the first time as riders, amazing boys and wonderful riders in the team; we look forward to you both joining us in more events!

Special thank you to all the parents involved in making this teamwork happen, as we know to get up so early and get everyone ready and arrive on time is not always an easy task when living in our same shoes - thank you and we are grateful for the trust that you gave us.

THANK YOU to ALL the #TAW Pack members that joined us for this race, it was great inclusive teamwork TOGETHER by all! I believe it was a special experience for each one of us!

It was a great race - option of 1.5km or 5km or 10km course around the grounds of the stadium.
Very well organised, with real community spirit of different ages and abilities participating, and, all for a great cause!
The #TeamAngelWolf Pack did the 5kms staying together as a Pack.
The weather was windy, raining and cold ... but this did not stop any of us - the true definition of The Determined!
Big smiles from all 9 of us for the whole 5kms!

A big THANK YOU to the organisers for a great event and embracing 'inclusion' and allowing us to participate in their race as we did, this message truly helps to spread the mission message of #TeamAngelWolf further and helps us in creating a more inclusive, healthier, kinder global community!
