Le 2 septembre 2019 Sahar Khodayari connue comme la fille en bleu, s’est donnée la mort en s’immolant par le feu devant la cour de Téhéran. Ce geste létal et radical venait contester la possible sentence de 6 mois de prison encourue par Sahar pour avoir voulu assister à un match de football, distraction interdite aux iraniennes. Artistes mais aussi partisans de l’impact de Montréal, Guillaume Pascale et Leila Zelli ont souhaité avec Substitute rendre hommage à la fille en bleu.
Dans la vidéo présentée, Leila occupe des gradins vides situés à proximité du stade Saputo un jour de match auquel le duo n’assistera pas. pendant 90 minutes elle devient la remplaçante, afin de rendre hommage à la mémoire de Sahar morte pour avoir voulu librement assister à une partie de soccer.
