A gnarly winter storm hit the mountains in Flagstaff, Ariz., but that didn’t keep more than 20 new adaptive skiers from hitting the slopes and giving adaptive skiing a try. Thanks to Northern Arizona Adaptive Sports Association, Arizona Disabled Sports, Arizona Snowbowl and a host of accessible ski instructors and volunteers, the annual SkiAble event took to the slopes and put some smiles on a lot of faces.
