Every year, JP's Sports & Rock Solid Promotions (JPRS) hosts seven sports cards and memorabilia shows across the tri-state area, and the first one of 2019 took place over the weekend of Jan. 11-13 at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY. The 26,000 square foot venue held 150 dealers, with over 300 tables filled with anything from vintage cards, to signed photographs and balls. Baseball, basketball and hockey were just a few of the many sports represented at the show. Two auction houses and five authentication companies were at the event as well. Jim Ryan and Brian Coppola, co-owners of JPRS and "true die-hard collectors/dealers," according to their website, spend the year touring the country's largest sports cards events in search of the best inventory and ideas for their shows, working to bring together people with a shared passion in sports memorabilia.
