After dominating the Playoff in his true freshman season, expectations for Trevor Lawrence were sky high. But for the first half of this season, something was missing. Too few throws were on target to his receivers, and way too many went into the hands of opposing players.

But in the second half of the season, Lawrence stopped pressing so much for the big play and settled for the smarter play. There was an increased focus in the intermediate range, 5 to 20 yards downfield. Lawrences’ accuracy increased with these throws, and the Tigers moved the chains more effectively.
