As a graphics hub for all of the Hearst owned stations, we have developed an alternate design package called "RINGS" for the stations who might share part of the same DMA as those who use the "DIAGRID" design. It may go without saying that competing stations don't want the same look. But I guess I said it anyway.
My creative director, Joe Polk, had designed the basic 3D elements a while back. But asked me to re-skin and update the design to reflect the "RINGS" style.
