Rabin Sengupta, a resident of Jamalpur, Bangladesh, spent almost 16 years of his life there, before moving out to Calcutta to learn Art in 1949. A retired painter and commercial artist, he recalls his fond memories of fishing and playing football by the ground nearby, and the journey his family undertook during Partition. During the migration, he sold handmade dolls to support his parents and 9 siblings.
